Khanyitex is a 100% black, youth and women-owned textile manufacturing business based in Hammarsdale, KwaZulu-Natal. Established in 2016, we have grown into one of South Africa’s most reliable Cut, Make & Trim (CMT) operators, employing more than 300 people across denim, workwear, PPE and uniform production.

Our Story

From a 150 square metre factory in 2016, we have scaled to a 3,000 square metre operation , growing our workforce from 30 to over 338 employees, all drawn from the Hammarsdale and Inchanga communities. Our weekly production capacity has grown from 5,000 to 40,000 units, all while maintaining the quality and delivery reliability standards demanded by chain stores, government and enterprise partners.
